If I Had Legs I’d Kick You
Frank Movie Review:
Rose Byrne is a therapist, a stressed out one, who is home alone with an elementary school aged child who does not eat – she is being tube fed. Her husband is away at work for eight weeks. Rose has a bad week – their apartment floods, they must vacate to a rundown hotel, she leaves her child frequently to get high with a neighbor (A$AP Rocky), gets pressure from the hospital who is treating the child, client problems, hallucinates, and more.

Rose Byrne is intense and overwrought throughout the entire film; she looks truly desperate and unable to keep up. Ms. Byrnes is nominated for Best Actress Oscar. She may beat the current favorite, Jessie Buckley (Hamnet), since this story is contemporary and relevant.
